John P. Trump, Pastor
Pastor Trump came to us from “up north” 15 years ago after working for two years in the Hurricane Hugo recovery effort. He grew up in Lancaster, PA, and graduated from Muhlenberg College in Pennsylvania where he majored in English literature. He completed a Master of Fine Arts program in playwriting at Columbia University in New York City before going to Yale Divinity School for his Master of Divinity.
Before migrating south, John served parishes in New York City. Pastor Trump devotes his spare time to his family (his wife Beth and their teenage twin sons Noah & Samuel), playwriting and running all over town preparing for his next marathon.
John's favorite Bible verse? From Hebrews: “Run with perseverance the race that is set before you.”
