Relay For Life 2008
Thanks to generous donations from church members, friends and family, St. Andrew's Lutheran's Relay for Life team raised more than $3,600 in support of the American Cancer Society! On May 16, the team joined hundreds of others from the Columbia and Lexington areas to walk (and play) from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m., raise funds for cancer research, and support victims and survivors of cancer. Although it looks like there was a little more playing than walking going on, the St. Andrew's team set up camp, braved the chilly and windy weather, and took a very meaningful 12-hour "Walk on the Wild Side." Enjoy the photo gallery! |

Knock Knock: Who's There? John Trump!
This year's Lenten drama series put our own Pastor Trump in the spotlight. Usually behind the scenes as playwright, Pastor Trump took center stage as "John," who finds himself one evening at the fabled Pearly Gates, wondering if he's to be welcomed in with open arms, or.... "Knock Knock: Jesus' Parables of Judgment" featured standard Pastor Trump humor but explored some of the not-so-lighthearted parables told by Jesus on his journey to the cross. Enjoy the photos, and remember the message! |

In Celebration of 20 Years of Ordained Ministry

Pastor Trump also received gifts from the congregation and enjoyed time with friends and family at a reception in his honor. “Y’ALL” Christmas Party 2006
The annual Christmas gathering of members of the Y'ALL group took place this year at the home of Kimberly and Helmut Von Schweinitz. (These are the folks formerly known as the Young Adult Luther League but are admittedly too stubborn to give up the "Young" part of the name even as some enter their late 40s!) As the pictures will indicate, you're as young as you feel! |
